Previously it had been an Alice Porritt, who was married to a William Nelson- Fidler.
on Luke's marriage cerificate to Mary Skelton, it states that William- His Father's occupation as a Miller.
Alice Nelson wife of William Nelson - Fidler is recorded in the Whitby Parish Records as being buried in 1782, Luke was born in 1788 to William and Alice Nelson.
