Monument Inscription reads " Erected by William Henderson parochil school master
of Yetholm, in memory of his sister Elizabeth Henderson who died in Yetholm Parochil schoolhouse 31-10- 1854. She was the daughter of Thomas Henderson Shephard of Jordonfield and Agnes Riddell his wife. Also the above William Henderson who died Yetholm 1.9.1874 aged 76 yrs. Also Margaret Wallace widow of Wm Henderson, who died at Crooked House 18. 1 .1912 aged 76
